I used to live in Mombasa until feb 1966. I was born in Nairobi. Just
want to wish the Kenyan cricket team good luck and hope they do well. I
met the team when they came to England last world cup. I am hoping to
come back to see the city again with my kids, they would like to see the
places I grew up in, schools I went to, kikowani primary school and
technical high school. I hope the place hasn’t changed much, the tusks
on kilindini road, the temples on station road, and makadara, the old
fort, uhuru gardens where i used to play, and pick mangoes from the
trees, mombasa sports club where I used to watch cricket and do the
scoring. well keep up the good site, I always visit on the net. Jambo to
all in Mombasa

Keep it up!! Glad to see that Old Kensec Boys are so creative. I am
going to scan some artist’s impressions of what the new Aga Khan
Academy is going to look like. Its opening in August this year and will
make you proud.

I do not know how many times I go back to a site once I discover it.
But, I am sure of one thing, that I will be back here many more times.
Living so far away from home creates such great thirst and hunger that
even a picture of some remote village in some remote corner of the
country will fill the void of being away from home. This site is
certainly fantastic but more can be done. Pictures and literature
especially those of Mombasa's Tourist Business District will be a
wonderful addition. Oh! a map of the town will be a wonderful idea, too.
Ahsante sana! (Thank You)

it really important can some one be understood if they are not
pronouncing correctly? i will return often to learn the language its one

Mombasa is too great and I do not believe anyone can capture the mombasa
feeling on a website. But I think this is probably the best and the
closest one can get. Good work and keep it up.
