Mombasa has a lot more to offer than just amazing beaches and beautiful weather. Whether one wants a relatively mellow evening or a night of wild partying, Mombasa offers all these, and everything in between.

Mombasa has a host of clubs situated on the North coast within close proximity to the major hotels. A lot of the bigger hotels have their own clubs right on the premises, notably Whitesands and Bamburi Beach Hotels with Rhythms and Breakers respectively. However, most of the frequently visited nightspots lie along the beach and in the area surrounding the hotels.

Within the city centre and outside, casinos are aplenty, and always popular before a wild night out on weekends, or alternatively to have a quiet evening on weekdays. Cinemas  are also a popular destination throughout the week, especially on weekends. Regular plays are staged at the Little Theatre Club, in addition to ballet performances and karaoke nights.
